In the relative peace of where we live, it is sometimes easy to forget the hot spots of the world where all business and economic betterment have been brought to a halt by violence and chaos. Many continue to lose their loved ones and the numbers of refugees continue to grow.

Thanks to the internet, we are increasingly realizing that we are not isolated to these events, or exempt from the pain and sufferings of others. Every thought, every prayer, every conversation towards a peaceful outcome, and every goodwill we share with those in need as well as with the people in our immediate surroundings adds a little to reducing the epidemic of wars presently plaguing our world.

We should also continue to remember and aid legitimate organizations that assist those in the hottest areas, as well as diplomatic efforts.
